The weather is probably retrieved from your nearest government weather
station. I happen to live less than a mile from my local station.

once i clicked on the icon in the system tray i found settings and after
some difficulty in getting it to accept Aberdeen for example i finally
managed to get it to go to united kingdom
i think i then entered my postcode but not sure on this
now when i click on it in the system tray it says the temperature followed
by london and not alahambama
