[Blind-Computing] Windows Genuine Advantage Notification

Hi all. I recently purchased a new computer which came with Windows XP 
installed.
Lately, when I boot up the machine, I get the "Windows Genuine Advantage" 
notification. 
My question is,
Do I need to install this program since I have a genuine copy of Windows?
