Thanks for the idea Mathew. I figured it out. I downloaded a program called "Adver Task Manager" and that was what was throwing it into the system tray. I turned that program off and now I'm a happy camper!

IE is back to minimizing to the task bar and not the system tray. Your suggestions got me going in the right direction.

Thank you very much!

Ken

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Internet Explorer minimizing to system tray

Hello everyone,

For some reason, my computer in the past few days has started putting Internet Explorer 7 and any open web sites into the system tray when I hit windows + D to minimize it. It used to put it in the task bar where I could just tab to the task bar, hit enter and it would open the site right back up, Or, if I had several sites open, I could just hit alt plus tab and switch between the sites I had open. Now, I have to hit insert plus F11, hit enter on the web
site, and then hit enter on a "left mouse click to restore" prompt.

This is very annoying. How can I get it back to putting everything back in the task bar?

I am using XP Pro, Jaws 8 and Internet Explorer 7.

Thanks.

Ken
