After performing a copy containing text (Control + C), you can have JAWS read the contents of the clipboard by pressing the JAWSKey (Insert for desktop layout) + Windows + X. This is available in JAWS 10 and 11. This should help to determine if the copy was successful. Some applications / documents will not allow a copy operation.

Friends, I'm sorry if I am anoying you by sending messages here again.
I'm having trouble trying to see what I have copied and pasted.
Let em show you what I mean.
I was trying to copy and paste from www.google.com/language_tools.
I was trying to write and translate a letter to someone in to another language.
here's what I got.

I don't know what's happening here.
Any suggestions? I am using jaws11 the newest update windows xp home and IE8 and thunderbird 3
