Hi,

If you had a bad virus, you may have to reinstall xp instead of reloading
it. You could also try to run windows repair in safe mode. It won't talk
but someone can get it going for you and jaws should talk when it is
finished.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Repairing drivers in XP

Hi
My brother in law had something go terribly wrong in his XP computer.
Apparently it was some type of virus that wiped out the information on his
entire hard drive including the audio and printer drivers. He took it to the
repair person who reloaded the operating system and we thought he had
reloaded the sound card drivers. the computer makes no sound through its
sound card. Next my brother in law loaded the printer drivers. The computer
cannot find any printer drivers. What is going on that this XP computer
cannot find its drivers?
I appreciate your ideas on how to fix it.

God bless,
Mark
