Do you have Nokia PCSuite installed? If so then its PCSync application
runs in the tray and the not connected means no phones are connected and
ready to be synchronized.

Go to Tools menu, select Options dialog, and on the General page, type
"google.com" in the edit field. Tab to Okay button, hit Space, and google
will be set as your default home page in IE 8.
