There is an extension for FireFox called Change that does exactly as you
describe; you enter the amount, tab once to a combobox with the list of
currency types and one tab further there are the results displayed
automatically depending on what you choose. Now by UK sterling did you mean
GBP/British pounds or is it still something different? LOL! 32.70 USD would
be 20.46 GBP if this is what you wanted to know as the example :)

Martina

Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] currency conversion

hello list members
i am looking for a website or a program that will convert currency
i don't want one of these all singing and dancing websites or program that
has all this fancy malarkey where i spend up to an hour trying to enter
information.
i want something very simple to use
for example converting dollars to UK sterling
i want to type in something like for example $32.70 and choose the country
of currency to convert on this occasion it would be UK sterling
so i want to type $32.7o arrow down and enter UK sterling and the conversion
rate is displayed automatically
is there something i can use for this?
and if not and also for my own curiosity does anyone on the list know what
$32.70 is in UK sterling?

Thank you

Yvonne
