Hi, helpers!  Donald, your key combination worked after about three tries 
and actually announced that jaws cursor would not follow pc cursor.  Your 
advice messages have been filed in case...  Thanks so much.  I live and 
learn on this stupid computer and wonder how many more little surprises are
