  Thanks everyone for the help. I hope this scan will finish soon because I
am getting off work in 41 minutes and the scan has been running for 2 and a
half hours now. Well it says 1:47:37. One more question, I have no way of
verifying this but I made some changes to my subscription on here and I was
wondering when I send a message does it show my name? What does it show? You
guys rock and thanks for helping.

hello there;

first open MSE;

next, tab until you hear;

change my scan link; press enter.
now, tab,
and you can set your particular time to scan, the type of scan, etc.

once you've made all the changes,
enter on save the settings.

now, for your computer to perform the tasks, you must have your computer
on.

hope this helps.

I mean this. The computer must not be performing any activity before the
scan occurs. I also mean that you can set a time and day when you know
you will have your computer on, so it can go ahead with the scan, saving
you from having to leave your computer on overnight just for it to do a
scan.

What do you mean by idle state? You also said the computer must be on so
when customizing the setting do I select when the computer is on but not
in
use or do I pick when the computer is on and in use?

Because the computer have to be on for the scan to run. It also must be
in an idle state. This can be customized by clicking on settings, then
select the scheduled scan category.

Hi,

So if using MSE I am neding to run a scan on it once a week or so
correct
or
does it run the scan itself? It's set to scan on Sundays at 9 so if
that's
the case, how come it it just told me that I haven't ran a scan in a
while?
