I'm not sure with XP, but I ran duplicate cards on a 98 box, with no conflicts. There was something I changed in the device manager, possibly the address, and they worked fine. Is it possible to run duplicate sound cards on a single system? This is just something I'm curious about. My guess is that they would conflict.
