Try going into the find feature of windows by doing windows key F. Once you
press windows key f, you will land in an edit field, type in some text that
relates to the email, press enter, tab a few times to the results. I'm
unsure of which OS you are using, but if its vista or xp you might be
presented with radio buttons after typing in your search query such as:
email or documents, etc.
I hope that will help, if not please let me know. With 300 emails this might
take a long time if that works, that is.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] getting back lost emails

Hi, everyone,

I was trying to move an email to its proper folder in thunderbird but the
folder was gone. Then I thought if I inported more emails from outlook
express, that would solve the problem but it didn't work. Now I've lots over
300 emails. Is there any way I can get them back? I already uninstalled
thunderbird but maybe I should have had had outlook express import those
emails from thunderbird if that can be done.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Rosemarie
