I wonder if GoldWave will do this? I use this now as my primary audio editor. No longer use Total Recorder as I discovered something amazing with the latest GoldWave; the ability to automatically download and install the appropriate encoder. So no longer need Total Recorder to save to MP3. Get your free trial, which limits you to a reasonably fair amount of usage, from www.goldwave.com. Hope this helps.
