Sansa models in the E series can be modified with the Rock Box open source
screen reader to make their menu options blind accessible. You can purchase

What model of Sansa talks? It does have a screen, so how does this "
talking feature " make the player accessible ?

I would highly recommend the Sansa. It talks and has numerous features
and,
the support is terrific. The initial cost of a Coby is $15 and batteries
for one year, $50; The sansa costs about $55 for the same year of
operation.

my el cheapo eard buds by 3 annoying kitties. Getting new ones soon for
it. You was right they sounded like crud anyway.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Coby MP200 is no longer
available from J&R. It was a great bargain while it lasted.

Cool. You'll love it. I do. You can't beat the price for it. I think
its still selling for $14 and some change.

Ooh I can't answer that one since I don't own one. Also, you can
purchase the Coby MP200G MP3 player from J and R Music and
Computing, but since you are wanting to play movies, that player
doesn't support that. It only plays MP3 and WMA files. Sorry I
couldn't help.

I looked for the podcast, but couldn't find it. Would you answer a
couple of questions for me? Do I have to go through itunes in
order to load it or can I just copy and paste from my music
folder?
My husband is sighted, but he couldn't seem to figure anything
out.

Candy,
The iPod Nano is very accessible. Have you read the
documentation?
rThe menus do speak. Go to the Blind Worrld Blog and Podcast and
find the demo of the Nano done by my bro Shane Jackson.

Hay guys,
I am looking for a relatively inexpensive MP3 player. I'm not
worried about having to remember how many times I have to push a
button or anything like that. I just want something that I can
put a couple of movies on so that I can listen to them in bed at
night. Then I will delete them. My niece brought me an ipod nano
over here, but I can't seem to use that. Any suggestions would
be appreciated.
