If you can't make use of the shift key normally while typing to render capital letters, if you hit the left shift key 5 times in quick succession, it'll bring up the sticky keys dialogue and I think if you hit space bar on the ok button, then things like shift, alt and ctrl will sort of stay stuck down/held in for the next keystroke so you then hit the shift key again, before each other keystroke, so sort of shift then A, then shift, then s, then shift then d will render as ASD - all capitalised - and to turn it off again, you just hit left shift 5 times again.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] typing a case-sensative password in thunder

Hi, everyone,

I wanted to search for something on the safeway.com accessibility site using thunder but when I typed in my password, it wasn't accepted. Since you have to use the caps lock key to read lines, what other method can I use for typing in my password?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Rosemarie
