I have been using Eudora since Jaws version 3.7 and I am currently
using the latest version of Jaws and Eudora Version 7.1.0.9 with no
accessibility problems. I do not know anything about the beta version
of Eudora 8.

I am also not familiar with IMAP to answer that question.

Hope eudora is more better to use than other email clients, just
