The default password on a Linksys router is admin which should be all you will need I believe. I had a spare Lynksys router that I wanted to change some admin settings in. I disconnected my regular router and plugged the spare in.I could get on the net and see my home network fine. I opened a web page and then typed the following into the address bar to get to the settings page on the router 192.168.1.1 A box popped up asking for user name, password and a checkbox to remember the password. There was also an ok and cancel button. I did not enter any info into any field and clicked ok It did not appear to do anything so I closed the window and the browsing session. When I went to open a web page to try again there was no network connectivity. I've unplugged the modem, hit reset etc but now can get no internet or home network connectivity. Any idea on what I did or how to rectify? thanks Al For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
