Hi Randy; I don't know about Vista or windows7, but with XP if you need to type, for example, the Letter "n" with the tilde, use the keystroke Insert / Jaws key + 4 on the number row above the main keyboard and this will bring up a symbols list. What you do is start typing the word you want and when you get to where you need to put in the "n" with the tilde, press insert + 4,and arrow down to the "ñ", and press enter. That will place the n,tilde in the word right where you want it. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike
