Will this prevent any contacts that are in a forwarded email from being put
in my address list? I get all those contacts put in the address book even
when I don't reply to an email.

Hello. From your inbox just go to tools, then options, then control tab
until you get to the "sent" tab and uncheck the box that says
"automatically put people I reply to in my address book."
Be sure to enter on OK.
