If you have a look at the downloads page of FS website for alternative languages, you might find something mildly useful - for example, if I want to just quickly scan something in Afrikaans this side, the flemish voice is around the best, but otherwise, I start NVDA with all it's languages, including Afrikaans, and use it, but, unfortunately, neither of these seems to specifically support either language, so you might need to look for something at least closer - don't know what more common language would be closer, but anyway...

Here's the link to that FS download page, and for most of the voices, they seem to have audio sample clips to let you decide:
