Does disabling a wireless network adaptor through the device manager have the same effect as physically removing the card from it slot? I need to uninstall and reinstall its drivers. It's my understanding from the documentation that the software must be installed before the card is placed in the computer. I need to try it this way because I have neither the skill nor the inclination to remove the card.
