I would like to know the answer to this question as well. Perhaps no one on the list has attempted to use any of these USB video devices yet. I have seen some messages lately about using a HD TV internal card with Windows Media Center. I have been considering purchasing one of these as well. In my investigations I had narrowed it down to the Hauppauge TV or the Pinnacle USB model where the software is run from the device. I got a lot of information on the website where I get my customized TV listings, TitanTV.com. It is designed for use with Personal Video Recorder (PVR) software. If nothing else, I figure this site is very accessible and can set recordings with just about any software, even if the software itself is not very accessible.
