There is a link to download IE8 with the included toolbar, but the website itself does not install anything.

Hi Chris, Deb and Dave,

As I mentioned, I have been using the "ie" (that is i e)on the end of
the normal Google URL for a long time. This problem started today and I
do not like the regular Google page. Also, for some reason the google
toolbar is not listed in the add remove programs. I am at a complete
loss what to do now except to use the accessible Google search. I
sometime think Google can be a pain and unfortunately be useful.

Thanks for all of you for trying to help.

Hi Chris,
I forgot to mention that the Google tool bar is not in the add remove
programs. I went there to do that, but it wasn't listed. Did you try
to go to that site?
Any other ideas?

Hi,

I have been using the following URL for my Google search:

http://www.google.com/ie

for a long time with no problems. Now, when I enter on that URL in my
favorites, the search page does not come up, but the Google Tool bar
does. I am using IE7 and the Google tool bar keeps asking me to
upgrade
to IE8.

Is there any way to rid this particular page and come up with the
normal
search page for blind people? I am not interested in using the
accessible Google search for the blind. If I removed the IE on the end
of the URL, then I get the normal Google page which I wish not to use.

Any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Lennie
