Anna, that sounds like a Jaws issue, not a computer issue. The term you used is one that comes up quite often when using Jaws. I'm guessing of course, but by the sound of it, there was a message on your screen that jaws didn't know how to handle. You did the best thing you could by rebooting. But messages like that can be really scary.
