Hi, There are programs which you can use for recovering lost files. Try either Win Utilities' undelete tool (just search Win Utilities Free on either Bing or Google), or go for Piriform's recuva. Both are very good.

Like what had been correctly said by John, this issue is a JAWS issue in the sense that JAWS uses scripts to handle most of its tasks. These tasks are allocated a certain script: usually the one that describes the task to be caried out. So if JAWS said it could not find this function, "Important" in our case, it is a temporary problem that has to do with your operating system. Sometimes when your computer hangs for some time, or when it can not perform as fast as you wish, the operating system may take some time before catching up with you. In fact, this is felt by JAWS most because the operating system would be trying to issue a certain command to JAWS, but by the time JAWS would not be tracking that action.
