Hello,
I'm not the world's authority on this subject, but depending on the version
of excel your using this might differ and in all likelyhood there's probably
another way to do this..
But for the date, I arrow to the cell I want it to go and press, control and
the semi-colan and the date is displayed as...5/17/2010
Now this only works if your on the date in question. If it's a different
day, you can put it in yourself.
There's probably a way to add it in a column of rows all at once through the
menus, but I haven't played round with that..

Subject: [Blind-Computing] a double-barreled excel question
I'm doing a stat sheet for our in house bowling league and have a two-part
question.
The columns that I'm using are the following:
Date, Bowler, Score, Total, Average.
First of all: Should I put the date by each name? That's my first
inclination.
Second: Once I've put the date in for the first entry, is there a way of
entering the date for several players in a row?
