Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] A question regarding NFBNEWSLINEONLINE
Hi, You can learn all about it at the nfb.org website. There are several
types of news services: newsline online, web news on demand and potable
news. It's a great service. You have access to hundreds of newspapers,
magazines and tv listings. Right now, I'm getting my local newspaper
delivered to my inbox every day. As I said in my original message, I could
get it downloaded to my Victor Stream, but I just can't get used to that
voice that comes with the software. If you need any more info, feel free
to contact me off list since I'm not sure this is a topic for this list.
Regards,
Jo

Jo,
David sent you the only option I'm aware of for an
alternative voice. On another note, where does one subscribe
to the news option you cite below

NFBNEWSLINEONLINE
-Hi All,
I hope this question is in line for this list. I'd like to
use Newsline in
your pocket on my Victor Stream. I tried it once, but I just
can't get used
to the Samantha and Tom voices which are used to read the
text. Is it
possible for me to somehow download and use another program?
If so, where
can I get it? Can I, for example, install Real Speak or some
equivalent
program? Thanks for any suggestions.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Using search in Outlook2007?
Listers,
Please! Will someone tell me how is search used in
Outlook2007?!
I have over 800 emails in my inbox and there's an email
that I must have
and
scrolling through all these emails!!!
I've tried several things in using the search but,
nothing.
I really like 2007,but 2003 was more user friendly, in my
opinion.
Thanks to all,
Carliss
