Visual Studio 2008 is not that different from VS2005. So the Scripts for VS2005 should work fine. The problem is with VS2010 which uses a different model, the Windows Presentation Foundation, for display. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter torpey" <[email protected]>

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Visual Studio 2005 vs. 2008

Hi,

I'm configuring a newly purchased PC.

I had Visual Studio 2005 installed on my old PC and used it quite well with
the msenv2005 JAWS scripts.

I'm wondering if I should install Visual Studio 2008 instead on this new
computer. How well do the msenv2005 JAWS scripts work with Visual Studio
2008? what would I be missing if I installed VS 2005 instead?

Thanks.
