Because I do not use AVG I am not sure. Sorry. I use Microsoft Security
Essentials and it does not interfeer with any of my voices.

I believe you are using SAPI4. Ok, I do not have this sort of crash on
my system. I am however not using AVG, so this could very well be your
problem.
