Ok, Patricia. Do I need to keep that extra list of books, each a folder, that don't have the .zip extension? In other words, they are laready extracted. Do you have a victor reader stream? I'm already sick of the clunky nls reader because it is not very portable and makes one of my favorite readers sound awful. Whine, whine. marilyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patricia" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 04, 2010 7:41 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] how move a document folder
: Hi Marilyn, : : You can press the shift key and down arrow to the books you want to move to : the folder once they are selected that is.. : Press control c/ to copy or control/x to cut and then open the folder and : press control/v to paste them there. : Alternatively, you can choose to have them downloaded directly into that : folder when you start the download process, tab to where you save them at : which probably is your docs, then shift tab to the list of folders in your : docs highlight it, tab to the save button. All the downloads now will go : into the folder. : I suggest you keep the zipped book on your hard drive just in case if your : reading it and something messes up during the read, you can unzip it again : without having to go back to the sorce you got it from. But it's up to you.. : : Patricia : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Marilyn Walker" <[email protected]> : To: <[email protected]> : Sent: Friday, June 04, 2010 7:16 PM : Subject: [Blind-Computing] how move a document folder : : : > Hi, all: Since I'm fairly new to downloading, extracting and putting : > books : > on my nls cartridge, I have some questions: Each book I unzip and place on : > the cartridge shows up in another folder witih its title even thought I : > have : > sent it to the cartridge.
