To find out if your player has the latest software update,press and hold
down the sleep key till it tells you the version of your software.
The latest is, 2.10 or close to that I might be a digit off since I'm not
at my player for the moment.

There is also software you can get for the players.
I am not sure where you can get it.

Donny, do you have the advanced player? Maybe you can try this with the
advanced player: I know this works witih a cartridge witih many books.
Press the play/pause button until it says "bookshelf" and cycle through
the
