Go to the control panel.
Choose Add or Remove Programs.
Activate this item and if your computer has fewer programs, or a faster
processor, your installed programs will load in a list box.
Press Tab while on any of the list box items and come to the Item simply
labelled "Change or Remove Program".
Use your down or up arrow key to get to the item simply labelled "Add/Remove
Windows Components".
Press your spacebar to activate it.
A new listbox will be loaded populated with Windows components, just arrow
down to Windows Media Player and choose Remove. The Windows Component Wizard
will complete the whole process.
Just click Finish to close it.
Hope this helps.
