Hi Cliff;

Below is a direct download link for a converter Program That Converts Office
2007 Documents To Be Compatible With Office 2000 And Up.

Give this a try and see if this will help with your friends document issues.
As far as your other My Document problems I am trying to screw up my
computer to see if I can duplicate your problem and not having any luck so
far. Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Problems in "My documents"

I found outk, yesterday, the reason why one of my documents wouldn't
relocate, as I desired.

I'd received it from a Pal who has a different version of word, a more
advanced copy, I believe.

When I tried to move my document, I got a message that there's a
compatibility issue with that document and my computer. Is there a way to
compensate for that? That document is well worth saving.

Since then, "my documents" has really gone bonkers on me.

When I tab over to do any of the regular file related tasks, I get non of
the regular messages. In fact, I get total silence.

When I open "my documents" It says, "My Doc ..." It never did this before.

Can you recommend a way around this? Or, do we need a house call from Doctor
M

Cliff SmalescClean?
When I tab back to the file listing, silence there, as well.
