Alt + H for the help menu, arrow down to about, and hit enter, then read the
dialogue that pops up generally, using something like jaws key + B.

Hello all. Recently, while using Word, I pressed Insert+Control+V and
heard Jaws say I had version 12 point something of Word. I thought that
version 10 was the latest and I know I don't have that one as I purchased
my computer in 2009 and believe I have version 7.
How do I determine the actual version of Word on my computer. Thanks in
advance.
