Hi
I love carbinite. I only wish I had installed it before my last computer crash. It creates something like a virtual drive on the inter net. One cannot access the files directly online. However, if you want to restore a file it copies it off from the web to the place you specify on your computer. The default is to put it back where it found it.
I cannot recall if I had to use the JAWS key at all.

God bless,
Mark

Subject: [Blind-Computing] advice re Carbonite backup

Hi Everyone,
Thinking about backing up via Carbonite. Looking for tips, hints, screenreader access, what to do, what not to do, and so forth. Will Carbonite backup Outlook Express emails? I understand it will. Is there another backup provider that's better? I'm using XP Pro, SP2, and JAWS. Many thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Bill
