Got it Rick.  Thanks for the response.  I tried that once with Windows XP
but I never got the sounds to work.
I hope that  I get better luck with Windows 7.

Hi John,
If you download the Microsoft Office Sounds, it should be an executeable,
and will install where necessary.
As far as other sounds, they can be placewhere ever you prefer, although
placing them in the following location will make it easier to browse for
when assigning sounds to events:
C:\Windows\Media
This location works for Windows 98, and XP, in Windows 2000, I believe the
media folder is in the Winnt folder on drive C.
I haven't looked at my Win7 system yet, but I believe it is the same as XP.
