What operating system?
I find the simplest way to start the process is to put a blank CD in drive,
close it, copy and paste files there, and when you then open the drive, the
wizard dialogue pops up, and if you tell it to burn an audio CD, after a
step or two, windows media player would come up, and I think you can either
start the burn process via a submenu on the file menu, or by tabbing around
a bit, but the last time used windows media player was version 9 or 10,
since now use nero, and this all on a windows XP machine.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] burning CD's using windows media player
Hi, everyone,
I've been making CD's for a friend in Maine but not using the computer. I
have a stereo with a CD recorder but there are some songs I can't do for
my friends because I don't have the capability of copying from one CD to
another. I can only copy from a vinyl album or a cassette. How do I burn a
CD using windows media player?
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Rosemarie
