Your second idea will only work if windows media player is the default player for the file types. If not it will open a new player and if there is more than one type of file and they are opened by different players it could become confusing.

another alternative is to open the folder containing the files and do one of the following:

If you are using XP, once in the folder, keep tabbing til you find a button called "play all" or something similar and hit space bar.

Or: once inside the folder, press control+A to select all and hit enter.

Hope that helps

An easy way to do this is to highlight the folder you want played. Hit applications and go down to play in windoes media player. If this is not there go down to open with sub menu and choose windows media player.

Hey ya, how do I go about getting windows media player to play all in a directory on the computer or something?
It plays 1 song at a time.
Is it possible?
Thanks,

Matt
