That is not necessarily so,
I am using Internet Explorer 8 with Jaws 6.2.
It's really going to depend on the websites you visit, as to whether Jaws will be useful.

Rick Justice

Internet Explorer 8 will not work with JAWS 7.
I don't think IE7 will work either.
To use IE7 you need at least JAWS 8 and to use IE8 successfully you need at
least JAWS 9 or 10.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] question about upgrading from I.E 6 To I.E 8with
jaws 7.0

Hi all. I am just wondering. I am using I.E 6 with jaws 7.0 and it works
quite well. my question is this am I able to upgrade to any other I.E
version with out upgrading my jaws as well? the reason I am asking is
because when I bought this jaws version jaws 7.0 I didn't get the SMA and I don't have the extra cash to upgrade. Also if I was to upgrade would I loose
all of my favorites? many thanks. from Mich.
