Hello there. How are you ripping them? You can choose to just rip them originally as mp3 and I think it is possible that it is doing that now. After the file name does it have a file extension such as.mp3? SOMETHING starting with a dot? If not you may have to go into folder options in tools menu and then the view and make sure the hide known file types check box is unchecked in that long list of options.
