[Blind-Computing] how to find windows messager

Hello, I was wondering how to find what programs are on the computer.  My 
mom said it was the registry but I am not sure how to get there!  I have 
messager popping up and I don't remember downloading it and I ant find the 
program on my computer in the add remove programs on the c drive, in the 
programs folder or the start minue.  I have not even set it up yet.  I cant 
seem to make stop turning itself on.  It saids "windows messager not signed 
in."  Any advice?  Heather
