Hello, here is how you can change your e-mail settings to plain text. 
Control T  for the tools minue arrow up once to options and hit inter; 
control tab twice to you git to mail format tab.  Shift tab to the formats; 
They have three options, html, rtf and plain text.  SO select the one you 
want and go to apply by shift tabbing 3 times .  Heather
