Oh, my friend assures me that the only way to get over all of these annoying
problems with my computer is to do a clean install.
I'm not really afraid of losing stuff from the computer, so much as it is,
forgetting something I should have backed up, or geting stuck, and not being
able to work the computer again.
What should I make note of before doing the restore?
Back-up address book from outlook express, I made note of all of the log-in and
stuff in outlook express for hooking up with my isp again. I have an exturnal
modem which they brought me from the company, it is cable.
I have lots of trouble with this computer responding slow with jaws and having
trouble uploading email and slow downloads, youtube stuff timing out or getting
caught in buffering, and only playing so far.
Each time I do something else to the computer, I think it will fix it, but no
such luck!
Tell me what I'm getting into if I do a full reinstall.
Will it use up a jaws key? What exactly do I need to have written down to
reenter inorder to get conected again?
I have my original windows xp home cd to restore from.
Thanks,

Matt
