It looks like Mike is helping someone who was stuck about going back
to Outlook Express. She found MS Outlook not to her taste, so was
wondering how she could use OE once again.
Of course Outlook Express working on Windows 7 is only possible if it is
run in a virtual Windows XP box. Otherwise, by default, Windows 7 does
not come with Outlook Express. In fact, it does not come with any email
client -- the choice lies with you. Many people opt to use Windows Live
Mail since it naturally hails from Microsoft and seems to have inherited
most attributes of Outlook Express.
On Windows 7, if you have Microsoft Office suite installed, you can use
MS Outlook as your mail client if you wish. However, you would find that
Windows 7 leaves you with a lot of options as far as having an email
client is concerned, and not the one tied to the operating system as in
earlier versions.
Anyway, I think this clears up this confusion a little.
