Sure, let's start by saying that You can just download a fresh copy of Internet Explorer from Microsoft site.

However, as for Outlook Express, have a copy of your original Windows XP at hand and do the following:

1. Go to Start->Run and type the following as it is:
%systemroot%\inf
and press ENTER.
2. You will land in a folder called INF with lots of files. look for the one called mso50.inf 3. Once you find this file, press the context menu and arrow to the item called "Install". 4. You will be prompted to insert your Windows XP disk into the drive. Do that and the system will reinstall Outlook Express.

Hi ya, is there a way to just reinstall outlook express and internet explorer
from my original xp home cd without having to do a full reinstall? Then
perhaps upgrade them from there?
Thanks,
