I use the brand named Linksys. the company name is Sysco inc. There are different types of Linksys and different prices. Just type the word Linksys on the address box and you will find the company.

I have no idea about finding a new router so, I need some suggestions.

I was with Verizon before and had Y-Fi. Now, I changed providers and I am now with Comcast.

My boyfriend and I have no clue about which router to purchase. I would like for it to be an easy install but if it requires sighted help my boyfriend can see so, he can help there but, again, we both do not know which to purchase and we no nothing about this sort of thing. Verizon set up the Y-Fi router for us. Comcast told us when we got their service that they do not carry wireless/Y-Fi routers so, we would have to purchase one. It's like pulling teeth with Comcast so, it doesn't help to ask them anything and that is all they would tell me.

Ok, so we are wanting wireless/Y-Fi router. Easy install but, not necessary. I have a Desktop with Windows XP Pro and my boyfriend has a laptop with Windows Vista if that info is needed. We are really not wanting to go above $150.00 but, a little over that will be ok. We do a lot of streaming.

I'm going to have to purchase this from Wal-Mart online because we need this soon because my boyfriend works from home so, he needs to use the internet soon. We don't have much left in the accounts but, we have a Wal-Mart card we can put the router on so, that is why I mention Wal-Mart.

If there is a place better to purchase a router instead of Wal-Mart please let me know anyway; we don't want anything cheap that will end up not working as soon as we purchase it.

If there is anything else I need to let any of you know please let me know.
