Hi,
I think I paid about $90 for my tutorial on excel. As far as the modern
computers not having a floppy disk drive, I don't know what you'd do in that
case.
As far as other tutorials, I believe Brian Hartgen still has tutorials you
can buy. I have one of his tutorials called Shop Till You Drop and it's very
good. It only cost me about $40 which is far cheaper than the one I have on
excel.
Hope this info helps.

Hi Rozemarie,
I have 2 questions:
1. How much does the tutorial cost please?
2. Modern computers doesn't have a diskette slot. Did FS set an
alternative to that?
3. Are there any other tutorials other than those free ones to teach how
to use other popular applications such as Power Point there in FS please?

Hi, Mitch,
The neat thing about the tuttorial I have is that it has a practice
diskette with files for you to practice with. You can follow along
with the practice diskette while you're listening to the cassettes.
Like I said in an earlier post, it does cost quite a bit of money but
it's well worth the investment if you want to learn excel.

Mich,
As several listers mentioned, Excel is the way to go. It is not
really hard to learn it and set up your financial information. I have
done just that.
I have a spread sheet with my budget, one listing all the bills for
the month, another one keeping track of my checking account, one for
income tax purposes and many other uses.
Freedom Scientific does have some tutorial on using Excel and I would
think that you can get addition information elsewhere on using it.
Actually, I would be completely loss if I didn't have Excel. You can
write me off list if there is any way that I can help you.
Take care,
Lennie

Hi all. I am looking for a program to keep track of my money and how
much I spend. I know there is money talks from afb but I am not sure
if that is the right program that I want to use. what I am looking
for is something that will keep track of my money and how much I
spend a month and then tell me how much I have left over. Right now
I have a ms word file that I have written out where I have put in
bills that I have to pay and how much they cost a month. for
instance. rent 475 cable 50 phone 80 etc. what I am looking for
though is a program that will do this for me and then after tell me
how much I have left in my account. I of korce would like it to be
jaws friendly as well. does any one know of such a program? many
thanks. from Mich.
