Hi. For days, my XP desk top computer won't connect to the Internet. I have it wired in.
However, I do have a wireless router. So, I do know that my Internet connection is working because via the router I can connect wireless with my lap top with no problems. It's just the desk top that won't connect. I'll need to get sighted help to make sure everything is plugged in correctly, but in the mean time, is there a way I can check on it possibly being a software problem? As mentioned, it's not the modem or anything because I'm connected through my wireless router just fine. If it wasn't for that, I'd assume I would need to reboot the modem or something like that.
