Hi,
I have a Creative PCIe SB X-Fi Titanium, Driver version 2.17.8 card on my
Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit computer. I'm running JFW 11 latest version, if
that matters at all. My problem is that every once in a while, at least every
hour or so, things get very distorted with anything coming out of the sound
card. This usually lasts no more than a minute and then it stops. I've got
the most recent drivers from Creative, but the problem has persisted since I
got this computer in January.
Can someone give me directions about how to fix this thing? If I need a
different driver, could someone tell me exactly where to get it? I'd really
appreciate any help I can get with this, I can't stand distortion in any kind
of sound producing device.
