[Blind-Computing] Help Using Audacity

Hello fellow listers & thank You all for taking Your time to read this 
correspondence. I am writing this list to ask if anyone has or knows of a 
good audio tutorial on using audacity. Or may be of any assistance to me in 
using this program. I have recorded some audio which I am attempting to edit 
for use in a podcast. I am can select the file that I am wanting to work 
with. However I am unable to do things like take audio out of the file. Such 
as a word or sentence or phrase, breaks, etc. Any assistance which anyone is 
able to give me would be greatly appreciated. If You'd rather write me off
