Two ideas come to mind lenny.
1. Save the document as a text file, then import it into Open Book.
2. Change the settings in the Reading options of Open book to ignore
punctuation.
3. print the document, then re-scan it using your scanner and Open Book.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] word 2002 and openbook

Using jaws and word 2002 I wrote a short story for a writing group. I wanted
to use openbook to create an audio file from the document. When I read the
word document everything reads correctly. When I read the file with openbook
all apostrophes are read as question marks. Is there an easy fix for this?
